Don’t you love these adorable Halloween cookies?! If you’ve got small children, grown children, grandchildren or no children at all, you will want to make these! The bats are so cute, they just make you smile. They are super easy to make and you can make both the bats and the eyeballs using the same set of ingredients. I stumbled upon these while browsing YouTube. The gal on the video does such a nice job that I am including the link to her video at the bottom of this post incase you want to see them made in action.
Here’s what you need to make both kinds of cookies.
Eyeballs are made using half an Oreo cookie, green and red candy melts and candy eyeballs.
I found the melts and eyeballs at my local Michael’s craft store.
Bats are made using mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, the cookie half of
an Oreo, some chocolate candy melts and candy eyeballs.
Tips for this recipe
- Candy eyeballs & candy melts can be found at your local craft store or grocery store.
- Melt the candy melts according to directions or risk ending up with a hard unusable mess!
- Use small plastic baggies to pipe the melted candy melts.
- If preparing in advance make sure to cover with plastic wrap.

The Cutest No Bake Halloween Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 bag mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
- 1 container Oreo Cookies I went with Double Stuff
- Small candy eyeballs
- large candy eyeballs
- chocolate candy melts
- green candy melts
- red candy melts
- small plastic bags
- tooth picks
Instructions
For the Bats:
- Separate the Oreo cookies making sure that the stuffing stays on one side. Set aside the half with the stuffing for making the eyeballs or eating later! Using a sharp knife, carefully cut the cookies in half to make the wings.
- Unwrap the peanut butter cups from foil only.
- Melt the chocolate candy melts according to directions. You only need enough to "glue" the wings to the peanut butter cups and then the eyes to the cookies.
- Dip one corner of each cookie half into the melted chocolate getting enough to stick the cookies onto the top of the peanut butter cups. Push down and hold briefly to set the wings. You want them to point upward a bit, so don't be afraid to push firmly. Using a tooth pick, dab enough melted chocolate onto the inside corner of the wings and place the candy eyeballs as desired. Now have fun with them and enjoy. Best if served same day or the Oreo's will become stale. If preparing in advance make sure to cover with plastic wrap.
For the Eyeballs:
- You will use the other half of the Oreo cookies as the base for these cookies.
- Melt the green candy melts as directed. How much you need depends on how many cookies you are making. Scoop melted green candy into a small plastic baggy and push into one corner, twisting to seal the opening. Make a small cut in the corner for piping.
- Squeeze about 1/2 teaspoon of green candy onto the cookie. Using the large candy eyeball, gently push down into the melted candy to secure the eyeball and push the melted candy into a wider circle around the white candy eyeball.
- Melt a small amount of the red candy melts, pipe into a small baggy, make a very small cut in the corner and have some fun making veins on the white part of the Oreo. (see pics above)
- Let set briefly and have a fun filled spooky Halloween!
